Brief Description of Wakala East Africa Consultancy Services Ltd

Wakala East Africa Consulting Services Ltd is a company owned by a group of committed and skilled professionals with extensive experience in all aspects of tropical agriculture, forestry management, natural resource management, food processing, agricultural policy, project formulation and supervision, rural development, agricultural research for development and agricultural extension.

Wakala East Africa Consultancy Services Ltd is providing services to various clients and serves as a catalyst for development of livestock and livestock-related businesses including processing into various products and by-products, agriculture and agribusinesses , natural resources and rural development sectors in order to enhance socio-economic growth of the communities and countries in the Eastern and Central African region. With first-hand knowledge and experience of economic conditions in developing-countries in sub-Saharan Africa , WAKALA offers relevant, practical and dynamic solutions for the development of a diverse client base that is struggling to combat poverty.

To become a leader and source of quality consultancy services in its area of competence - agriculture, food processing and value addition, business management, natural resource management (land, water and forestry), environment, nature and wildlife conservation and service provider to farmers and other stakeholders in Rwanda, sub-region, region and internationally.

A strong team

Wakala East Africa Ltd is registered in Rwanda by legal Law (Registration no: A649/07/KGL of 10 th October 2009). The company has 4 permanent employees and 25 short term associate consultants. It is one of Rwandan dynamic multi-disciplinary consulting firms with a wide range of experienced consultants, derived from all over East Africa and other regions of the World.

Since 2007 WAKALA has worked with Ministries and international organizations in a wide range of consultancies (or services). Our team has conducted many consultancies in different fields for clients seeking useful information- ranging from Extension Service Provider under the Crop Intensification Program (CIP) for Horticulture to several to Training in Agricultural Production Techniques, Environmental Awareness of Chemical Use, Principles of Harvesting and Post-Harvest Management and Feasibility study for the establishment of small and medium processing units (SMEs) in Rwanda.
